-DEVELOPMENT INCENTIVE PROGRAM DEADLINE EXTENDED

The Development Incentive Program is now accepting applications for the fall round. 2008 Guidelines and application forms are posted under Downtown Resources button to the far left.
This program replaces the Exterior Improvement Grants. The 2008 DIP is funded through a generous $50,000 contribution from the City of Salina. The funds are part of the quarter cent sales tax set aside for economic development in Salina. Any Lee District business or property owner in good standing (service fees must be current) is eligible to apply. Non-profit organizations who are located within the Lee District and who are Salina Downtown Inc. partner members may also apply. Mini-grants may be awarded up to $3,499. Larger projects are eligible for up to $15,000 in the Forgiveable Loan catagory.
